hi me english is bad. but i have kawasaki z550 kz550 it was not working becosu of carbs.i never driven it. after cleaning (not me) i instal it and now its working only on choke but its not working look in my video, thanks fo all info .

i really need more info . foto ,video how to do, because i don't want to pay again 20 euro for work that not working ;(

and how to adjust Air screw
turns in all and then turn out 1 time and 1/4 of time ;( sorry i am noob but i am learning for future .video will be best or pictures .

its nice that u can fix it i hope i will fix my carburetor and its start to respond to the throttle grip , after i can start looking for more things.
it good to find tk22 carburetor pictures the is standing Pilot jets .

The bike in that link has CV carburetors which are different from your TK22 mechanical slide carbs. I did not read any of that topic.

sorry i am noob i look in manual and find it ;) now i will go and try to clean pilot jet.and look that going on and is good to try to look to.


i know is 2 type of carburetors CV and TK .and i reed u internet page ,

Did you install the individual pod filters & were the carburetors rejetted for them? If possible, re-install the stock airbox.

the air box is broken carburetors was only cleaned i buy pod filters and pot on . to have filters . but i do not understand how can be mising air filter iinfluence the throttle grip.o choke like in my video

You will probably need to get the next size larger pilot jets since you went from the air box to pods. Been some folks on here lately that have jetted up their carbs do a search.
1978 KZ650 b-2
700cc Wiseco kit 10 to 1.
1980 KZ750 cam, ape springs, stock clutch/ Barnett springs.
Vance and Hines Header w/ comp baffle and Ape pods, Dyna S and green coils, copper wires.
29MM smooth bores W/ 17.5 pilots, 0-6s and 117.5 main
16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.
