I remember that. Left LA and never looked back. Traffic was miserable in 75/76. When I go that way it's like I'm heading into a sea of humanity. The smog hits you as you're coming into Corona. No fun. :S

Put my 127.5's in and found one emulsion tube has a hole I missed or the solder fell out. The plugs before the jet change, float adjustment and sync were showing lean. Now it's rich. Can't talk to you without talking to me. ONE THING AT A TIME. The aftermarket 130's lie. It's a little over 100 miles to my place so I'll check them when I get home. I may have to go back to the 65 pilots. I may drill my 60 to 62.5 and try that first. We'll see.

BTW, $11.99 for a set of four. The guy was looking up the jets and I handed the printout I got on line. He said he didn't know they sold them that way. Hmmmm.

After installing my 127.5 mains and setting the air screws I settled in for the night.
Everyone had gone to bed but three girls Kayla's age that was spending the night decided to fight. Craig has to get up at 4AM and drive 3/4 hours to work, my daughter was worn out and I had to listen to it for about ten minutes. ENOUGH. I walked in there, asked them what do they think they're doing? It's time for BED.
Anymore nonsense, the TV will go off and two little girls can sleep on the couch, GOOD NIGHT. All quiet. I could hear Kayla telling them Grandpa never gets mad...We'd better be quiet.
Before I left in the morning I decided to get Kayla's little bike going again after 2 years. She was afraid of it then but she is big enough to ride it now. I rode into town, got some carb spray, gas container and a gallon of gas. AZ wanted $16 for one (the SHT you say) I got one at True Value for $12. For a $5 piece of plastic? Oh well; cleaned out the carb, put in gas and 2 stroke oil. SHE RUNS. Kayla is jazzed.![:) :)](/media/kunena/emoticons/8.png)
One little girl looks up at me and said "my grandpa isn't like you. All he does is lay on the couch. He says he's getting old" I told her you're only as old as you think you are.
Here's some clips of the little bike and my plugs after I got home with a couple shameless shots of the little one thrown in.![B) B)](/media/kunena/emoticons/1.png)

The work on the carbs seems to have paid off. The bike is a lot crisper now and I'm back up here in the high desert. A drop in power is to be expected at high elevations but it isn't as pronounced now. I credit the new air bleed screws. I knew I should have ordered 4. I'll get two more in a week or so. Might as well get a couple shims while I'm at it. ![B) B)](/media/kunena/emoticons/1.png)
It's early, not a creature is stirring except the rooster and grandpa. Just checked #4 plug. Rich. So much so, I think going down to 65 won't be too much. Will have to wait until I get home to confirm.
It's cold so I'll wait a couple hours and check the other's as well before I leave. Kayla's friend was here last night. She said she knew how to ride and could show Kayla how. I let her ride the Chappy. She's good. After a few laps on the back, Kayla was riding on her own. They speak the same language so it was easy.
I didn't get clips of her first ride.
Too worried about her first fall. Plenty of rides to come I'm sure. ![B) B)](/media/kunena/emoticons/1.png)

Checked two more plugs. 3+4. 4 is the same one as early this morning. This time it was after using the choke, warming it up till the RPM raised then turned the choke off. Still rich.
This is what they look like now I'm home. 1200' above SL.
I'd better wait until I get some B8's in there before I put in smaller pilots.
I'm loading a few clips of the rides. One I followed Kayla around the track. Bossie is as happy on the slow trail as she is at WOT. The last clip I'm pulling onto the HWY and at about 1/8-1/4 throttle there's a soft spot. I think it's a overly rich condition as the main circuit starts to kick in.

Took a ling time to load. I'm putting it here to show how the 33's run as well as my 28's did. Only difference is when I grab a handful, it's all there. Got some riding time in before I had to go home. ![;) ;)](/media/kunena/emoticons/11.png)
