Sounds like it's missing on at least one cylinder.Tj_saxon wrote: ... I posted the video to see if you guys could tell me if sounds like it's running right.

Your bike came stock w an electronic ignition, so there are no points. The only serviceable part is the timing advancer. The Kaw elec ignition is supposed to be very reliable. I think the weak link is the coils - I guess they're under the most stress? If you don't have the new spark plug wire set yet, you could redo the connections on the stock wires. The connections become poor from oxidation over time. The plug wires untwist from the coils & spark plug caps. At the coils unscrew the ribbed compression boots, then untwist the wires. If there's a lot of the white crusty oxidation, nip off the ends a tad - not too much as the wires could end up too short. Redo the igniter leads on the coils as well. Simply disconnecting & reconnecting them will clean them up some, maybe enough to get them all to fire.Tj_saxon wrote: Ok that hat I thought but just wanted to make sure that's what I heard. New plugs and plug wires it is. And maybe points system I believe?

nickleo373 wrote: If you haven't done it already, check the fuel levels in your carbs. If one carburetor in the set isn't getting enough fuel it won't run on that cylinder
To do this I put a clear hose on the nipple on the underside of the carb bowl and lossen the screw wih the clear hose make a u beside the carb bowl correct?
