That sounds very similar to the yosh baffle.

I tried the bike today with the baffle in it and didn't like it at all. First of all, way too quiet. I ran better on the low end but really seemed to choke the engine up top. It's looking more and more like you guys were right all along - the V&H with the racing baffle might give the best overall performance.

i just got a Carron pipe (2 5/8" ID. collector)from Jack. I'll have to get it bent to clear my swingarm. it has a small (1" ?) baffle. I'll try it out, but it will need a 2" baffle to work right with more cc".

76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.
