The dyna2000 has I believe 5 levels of retard that you can activate off a map sensor or pressure switch. I haven't read into it lately due to other projects but look into it. I believe it will do what you want

The Dyna 2000 is the best setup for this. On my bike, I have a boost pressure switch that activates the retard settings on the Dyna 2000. There's a separate circuit on the Dyna 2000 harness that trips the retard settings on the igntion map.

With the Dyna 2000 you can use the 3 turbo retard settings preprogrammed in the control module, or with the additional CurveMaker software, you can remap the ignition to retard when you want it to.

We've experimented on my turbo bike and it's much better having the retard boost sensititve rather than determined by RPM.

I've experimented with the retard settings between 8 and 12 degrees - but it really depends on the temperature and humidity which works best.

Here is the link to our facebook page with the turbo - you'll see the boost switch on the RH side of the bike

Lush,

Do you have a turbo yet? If so are you going to run and external or internal waste gate. I may have a new turbo sitting around that might do the trick if you are going to at least a 1200. I can be useful on the topic of turbos and turbo support systems. In a former life I was a turbocharger engineer for Holset Turbos. I did all the race applications and one offs for the company in North America. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Ive been trying to steer him into something between a 1015-1075 motor for his first turbo project,I think that's plenty of motor to get him in trouble with a little boost behind it. B)
Theres plenty of time for the 1200 turbo once he scares the shit out of himself working the bugs out of this system and learns how to ride it! :woohoo:
We could defifinately use some help sizing up the system for this smaller motor though, with the emphasis being on affordable here.
Yeah I know,what a contradiction of terms performance/affordable! :woohoo:

That is fine. I can run my airflow program on that motor combo and build some breathing lines so they can be laid out on some compressor maps. I'll grab that turbo this weekend and see what it is suitable for. I'll donate it to the cause if it works.
