Mr. Turbo web info
Power Gains:
Boost / Small CC (900-1000) / Big CC (1200-1400)
10lbs / 140 hp / 170 hp
20lbs / 200 hp / 230 hp
30lbs / 280 hp / 310 hp

With the increasing use of chat rooms and an endless number of places to get information these days, be careful, much of it is bad information. Every Horsepower number claimed by us on our website, over the phone, or any advertisement is based on “rear wheel” numbers from our DynoJet 250 dyno. Rear wheel numbers, at the pavement, confirmed by other dynos around the world, no exaggerating, no “pie in the sky”, and no bragging… just fact.

by the time you get done paying for that you could buy a used zx14 ninja that already has upwards of 170 horsepower, and if the police catch you using (the power)it you will probably need the helmet for what they will do to you.
My first car was factory rated at 81 horsepower, 4 speed, front wheel drive, and 2000 lbs(rough estimate)capable of 105 mph or so, why risk your life. also had seatbelts.

People can still build whatever style of whatever they want be it a motorcycle or house, some people prefer to be able to walk into a showroom and buy a bike/car that looks just like every other one sitting on the showroom floor.
Many people do it because they lack the skills/tools to make something different, others do it because theyre brain dead zombies with a stack of money who are trying to compensate for other areas in their life.
Problem with buying something just because its the fastest most high tech thing from the dealer at the time is next year there will be 5 faster more high tech machines in line to take its place.
That's why I learned long ago to build what I like/what suits my needs/what I know how to work on/what I have easy access to parts for.
Sport bikes are like hookers in vegas,or Ferraris in monterrey California, theres one one every freaking corner.
So anyway buy/build what ya like B)

It's called personalized! It's mine and it's built my way, by me, and yours was built by a disgruntal employee on an assembly line on a Friday thinking of only getting laid or drunk that weekend. What they didn't get right on mine, I fixed, What they didn't right on yours, you deal with. You say potato, you say potatto. To each his own! Every build on here deserves merit! For some it's a major undertaking, others, not so much but each one has their personal signature on it. I don't care if they bought every part on it to get what they wanted, it's still their creation! I don't think it's right for a person to tear down another mans dreams just because they aren't in line with their oun. You want to do it? Then do it!

Those who say it can't be done shouldn't fuck with those who are doing it!

well what ever your into is your business and i make it a point to not meddle in things that dont concern me, but this thread is a build and discussion for forced induction on a budget. its getting mucked up with personal opinion. could we please not state any more irrelevant info?

Hey Lushbaugh,
What do you consider NO Mileage on a turbo ??
I dont try for serious long range on my turbo , but I get at least 25 MPG .. More if I stay out of the boost. Love the turbo as a way to have high power on tap when desired without the need to burn down the motor trying to cruise with a normally aspirated high power motor
