- Love Them Kaws!
...
If you decide you have too many projects and don't want to take this one on let me know I just sold my 77 1000 LTD to a buddy of mine and I'd be interested in this one since I have all the needed parts sitting here to fix it.
Thanks,
Andy[/quote]
Will do!

To get back on topic I went on the ride for Red White and Blue this past Sunday with My ex-Wife's uncle. He just got back from Bogota, Colombia on Friday after getting married for the third time. We left my house at around 11:45, had to make a stop on the way and got to Liberty Harley Davidson a bit after noon. He was jones'n for coffee so we went into the Cafe got coffee and I was looking around and talked with the owner a bit about a ride I want to put together sometime in October. They were going to hold an auction for some donated items and I had my eye on a new leather jacket to replace the one I sold to Roy I think they sold one item before the skies opened up and they had to stop the auction and everyone crowded into the shop and under tents. I suppose it rained hard for 30 or 40 minutes and then we started the ride. I foolishly had decided to take my Z-1 Classic on this ride and all I was thinking was damn I hate cleaning up all that chrome. We took off on rain slicked roads and roared through Akron. All the intersections were blocked off so we didn't have to stop anywhere. Once we got up to the old Firestone plant everyone stopped and dried off their bikes. My buddy was starving and I wanted a beer but the beer line was a quarter mile long and the food wasn't going to be ready for an hour so we said screw it and headed to a friends bar downtown. My buddy was eating his lunch and I stepped outside to smoke. The rain came again really hard with lightning and thunder and then it started to hail. Not wanting to get my tank ruined I grabbed my jacket and rode my bike under the overhang of the Akron Aero's stadium. I was going to move his Harley as well but he had locked the ignition. I waded through the water running down the street and walked back in the bar dripping wet to get his keys he said the hell with it if it got dented he'd just call his ins. co. must be nice. Thankfully they gave us all T-shirts for going on the ride so I peeled off my Z-1 Ent. shirt and hung it to dry by the pizza oven. Then did the same thing with the other shirt. We shot a few racks of pool then decided to call it a day. We rode back to my house and I then went up to Toledo to get my latest bike an 83 KZ650H3. I think I got home about 2 or 3 in the morning. What a day!
