anyone here have a bike that runs?rode this month?

It's snowing a bit now, but the weekend temp is supposed to hit mid 50's I'll be going for a ride then. I only drive my bike in the spring/summer/fall. I have less the 500 miles on my truck and about 10,500 on the bike this season and I don't commute to work.

I have been riding to- and- from work a lot.3-4 days a week ..it is only about...8-10 miles\
and 1/3 is 30-45mph..good thing cause deer time is here on my canyon...vapors...eyes in the dark...

the next third is bmw high beams and 65mph coldddddd-whatever is reasonable...which when it is 42 degrees and 4 mph wind coming offf the monterey bay 10 miles the other way...cruising isnt just cool ...its kinda warmer too :whistle:

you would of course be right....

it is far better to navigate all the sniffles and cold breaths, spirits in the head lights... warmer spots...dips in the valleys....micro climates that bring on a god like sneezes..can you spit phlem and coffee out a visor @ 55 without blinding into suzzie chapstick..themselves a danger to all... so it becomes brutal @ 6 min mark..systems shutting down...praying begins...goood morning god...it's craig....no big crashes please for starters..this ride imo...is alive....far better.....than to ride to work when it it comfy....it is a complete 180 to really get nice and numb...praying out loud to gods of my fathers under the milky way and a few contrails ...dodging roadkill ....brings one in close contact with the thin line between now and passing over.... and asking for paitence with people i might meet that day......cant hurt to warm up the days karma and stop that buck from spirographing into my life...

and maximum amount of light to shine through me that is granted.....the cold goes and the full moon hangs around Hawaii ....painted golden clouds....fields fallow or winter sprouting, as the earth once again gets near full tilt towards our 2011 stonhenge line up....been done before... .....this morning as an added gift....i saw a meteorite /falling star/ shoot over from my back left shoulder going north on the road about at 60mph and arc the whole sky over the salinas valley and up from big sur,,,,burning out over freemont peak during a full moon @ 5:40 am......on a 35 yr old cam chain.....bike runs perfect......and once parked at work gets more talk and makes the work day go by better just having it there....i have gathered a daily comment galllery, have about MC guys that once owned/still ride ect....ect... and every darn day now , thay pull over, or stop and sit on it....one MD. said wednesday when i had rode in in 45 * @ 530 am,.....he says...you know they should just start making that bike again

I live in Hawaii- so year 'round riding. DR 650 E is my "daily driver" these days. Will be some months yet before I can get my Z1 over here.

Yesterday the weather man said 63 and sunny so got the ol girl out and took her for a nice ride in the country unfortunately my video sun glasses we not charged up so about 6 seconds is all the video I got but it was an amazing ride

Traveled to Wisconsin for a wedding this past weekend. My nephew let me take his bike for a spin. It's not a KZ. But considering I have only ridden a whopping mile and a half on my KZ so far, it's better than nothing.

the copper gsx1000 is my next ebY 3500.oo for 165 hp...they are dropping in price ...4500gxr1000....park the beaters????

My nephew's supposedly has 200 hp at the rear wheel. Has some aftermarket exhaust and some kind of adjustable Dyna ignition that you just press a button to choose the mode. Whatever, not sure if its all true about the claimed horse, but I probably used less than 30 hp on my ride. :blush: My KZ feels like it has plenty of power for my needs. :whistle:

5:28 a.m ................1/2 choke...turn off lights....turn z1ent cheapo to res,,,,,bump neutral....43* and clear skies......goose scene...lol....all week....wind chill ????@?????11 minutes.... i talk to my brother and the shooting stars...saw the space station today...

well///still riding and really digging these cold a.m's and cool p.m ride home.....old mikunis dont mind the cold much either...whole bike seems to purrr along nicer in the 35-45 degree gig...
