Put 600+ miles on last weekend....Route 144 in PA....awesome riding!! Took the '78 1000 along with 2 other old KZ's, a new Honda Shadow and an old GS850. What a blast:

Ride my 79 1000 LTD at least 4 times a week. Daughter gone to college so empty nesting allows for Saturday or Sunday all day riding. Wife goes her direction and I go mine.

Ride until I can't!

Nice bikes! How is that corbin seat with the backrest?

Love the seat! It's a Gunfighter & Lady...see them on eBay quite a bit. Probably the most comfortable seat I've ever had. We put on over 600 miles in 36 hours and I was confortable the whole time. That's a lot of miles for me.

The back rest pops off with one screw. I bought it mainly to ride the kids around but it really helps to hold a bag on the back too (and no, I don't mean my wife!) :laugh: :laugh: :dry:

so then what your saying is....none of you girls can ride?

so now that we know there are a few folks on here that have master basic motorcycling 1A..

anyone gonna try and plan a u.s early kawasaki/kz event...anyone smart enough to take a ruler and figure what is a central enough location with weather and events and camping....

I was looking at the corbin site today actually and boom, I see one in a post. Not a coincidence....The price is kinda steep, but for comfort...hell Id pay it. My lady would like it also.

i was just trying to make it equal on long distance folks to find the x mark.
