Colorado. Hwy 72 (Peak to Peak Hwy) and Hwy 67 West of Salida. Coal Creek Canyon on the way to the Peak to Peak is wicked technical with many 10 and 15 mph posted switchbacks. Early in the season I really got to keep an eye out for gravel wash. St. Vrain Canyon, Golden Gate Canyon and Sugarloaf road are also fun as hell. 105 from 67 to Monument is easy but great scenery. Couple places there where you can rap it up into the triple digits on two lane blacktop.

I wish I had a mountable movie cam of some sort, what you see isn't 10% of the really cool stuff.

Mounted up the rearsets last week along with some 1" shorter "Forks by Frank" and went for a easy ride last Sunday just to check them out. Much, much better for my style of riding, and oddly the added preload actually smoothed out the ride. Just added different rear shocks with adj preload and am looking forward to an early morning ride up 72.

Redline, Nice to hear a post from someone who's actually riding. and fairly close at that... I'm intimate w/ your' ride, (I'm near Boulder) & ride a "near sister" to your' KZ1000. (just black/w/gold) & black Kerker, w/29's & stock cams (indeed engine) GS S/A & Ohlines. Nothing special, but clean & proven..PM me if intrested in making a day or better ride. Sundays & Mondays are my days off, but w/ a little lead can arange for more. G
