not one fucker on here could commit to shit though...typing kawasakis and riding em are different things it seems ..

Lots of Donkeys here....we went Donkey in 2008, remember? Lots of elephants in the rural areas though...got to stay close to the big cities. :lol:

Sure looks like Kansas or Nebraska is the middle of the country...sure if flat around there, isn't it? Maybe good for drag bikes!

although we have a decent 1/8 mile over in pacific junction when its not under water,then theres always the 1/4 down in topeka B)

IF things work out, I was hoping to do all of Route 66 next year. Starting off from DC to Chicago, to L.A. and then back to DC. I'd be up for a detour along the way....

Man, Id like to get on that trip. Are you thinking a late spring run or in the fall?

I was thinking late spring. I can handle it if it gets hotter. Getting caught in the cold stinks. I was thinking Mayish... God willing of course. And I'm so making a detour to go see the Grand Canyon!
I have to crunch some numbers, see how far between fuel stops, think about the time I can take to do it. Oh, and put my motorcycle together first. ;) All the details and such.
But I'd be more than happy to have a few others along. Even for part of the trip.
