You actually called my beloved KZ that I have been custom re-building for the last 18 months, going over every technical specification, electrical termination, bolt, researching and studying modification requirements, learning CAM degreeing etc... with excruciating and some time painful analyzable detail a scooter...

Please re-cant and say you didn't say this

MY KZ IS NOT A SCOOTER!!!!!

Rotors look great Dave.

The bike keeps getting better and better.

How about a driver side pic of the mounted gauage? I'm really leaning toward one for my ride.

Last Saturday was a REALLY good day....

While at the bike shop on Friday night, I was informed the following day they where having a FREE (Yup, I said FREE) Dyno HP shoot out....

So on Saturday, got the first 50 mile break in run accomplished, ran extremely well... Then off to the Dyno...

Damn printer wasn't working so no print out available and they weren't programming torques or other pertinent data... Just HP.... As I explained to the tech running the Dyno, I was only interested in this for jetting purposes where I was running rich and needed to see where I stood.

He replied, cool, and would keep her under 9 grand....

Sure enough, he replied 86HP and I was running really rich. Asked what jets, 120's, he said drop down to 108-110's on the main jet, adjust the pilots and re-synch I'd be good to go....

NOTE: Keihin literature states find the optimum jets, than go one jet size up... Pretty much right around the 115's I had purchased at the time of the carbs.... I'll run with this setup for awhile keeping an eye on my plugs (TAN in color).....

In speaking with Plummen and Larry C, should put me somewhere around 93-95HP @ the rear wheel...

Getting closer to completion.... Should be able to get a 200 miler in this weekend... B)

Once all dialed in, I'll go for another dyno test and provide the results later on....

NOTE: Changing the main on the CR SPecials is a breeze...

Brilliant stuff - as always - with your bike!

Side note: I have an email from Acewell that the "4000" would be out in July...of last year!...everytime I contact them about it I get a reply that's about a month-and-a-half away...I'll believe the '4000' when I see it...but I'll still buy it
