Looks and sounds sweeeet. It sure is a cool feeling taking the first ride on a project bike. Now get the tags on her and go for a real ride.

What! No burn out
Way cool Dave.
Do u think that the Acewell could be fit into the stock kz speedo cover and mounted in the stock location?

I find that and my speedo is reading out of wack with the 17 inch rim. How does it pick up the speed signal?

Most probably for it is a small profile. PM me if you need exact measurements...

I like that and my speedo is reading out of wack with the 17 inch rim. How does it pick up the speed signal?

It uses a Hall effect sensing for pick up of a magnet on the front rotor. I don't have this dialed in yet (need to ride her on the highway and compare to other vehicle mph) for speed accuracies but in programming, you just insert the circumference of your wheel and that's about it...

IMO, If Kawasaki was smart they would talk to Dave and build his bike as a New Model. Its like having the best of both worlds. The Zephyr of the late 90's and The ZRX 1100/1200, but I think Dave's bike looks better than both of the above Models. It's what I would build if I could. Thanks for sharing with us Dave!!!

Thanks for the compliments all....

As for first ride, how the hell do you guys think I could even consider putting trianga on my bike when I didn't do any support fabrications on the frame.... :P

Besides, I love my KZ and she loves me... Why would I hurt her or disgrace her that way by putting any of you phat stinky arses on her....

For kaw-SUK-man, he'll be lucky if I even let him touch the handle bar grips let alone sit or ride her.....
   :P
