glad you finally got the rotors and finally got them installed once again steller work dave beautifulllllll. nice to hear your going to be able to have some fun with it.

Can the speedo pickup be installed off any rotating part?
76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.

No... you don't want the pick up on a rotating part.

If you meant the magnet then yes, for this is on the rotor...

I meant the magnet. can it be run off of the sprocket or rear wheel? I guess it has a calibration mode or something
like that?

With the Acewell speed sensors, you program in the wheel circumference so front or rear would work just fine. For it's just now a matter of counting revolutions... ;)

I thought about going off the rear as well but as I tought about it longer, didn't like the idea for the swingarm bounding up & down may throw the accuracy off... Then there's the cabling to contend with....

Ah well, that's the beauty of fabrications....
