 i knew you wouldn't be able to just cut a hole in it.so now that you are frenching the headlight what color are you going to paint it?
leon
 What are you saying Leon... I think white or black are the obvious colors. I've considered black, it would tone it down some too. What do you think?
If it turns out nice maybe I'll pull a quick mold so it can be reproduced. You never know there may be some takers out there.

sander,
it has become painfully obvious to all of us following your adventures in kz land.you cannot leave anything alone .it is okay it is like being a leper on leper island, you are among friends  .
my first instinct is to say white with a kawi green stripe down the center to offset/match your white stripe down the bike.but,(i know)black is basicly my default color and i think it looks good on everyhthing.so what'll it be sir?
leon
p.s. i would probably be in on one of them if you decide to pop some out, lemme know if you do.i have an upcoming cafe project that could utilize one.

No worries that page has 2 of my favorite race pictures ever on it, Doohan in a fat rear wheel slide and Mamola all crossed up smoke coming of the tire...
Ah Laguna Seca coming up next month! :woohoo: :woohoo:

will it be the small headlights?
will they be offset to the side (enduro style)?
leon
Yeah same as mine. I am using those street fighter twin headlights. They unbolt in the middle so I have two to work with. They are much nicer than I thought all metal construction and they are H4 so hi/lo no problem.

i like it, and have tried(unsuccesfully) to talk a buddy of mine into doing the same thing on his 75 z1.
but maybe a oval number plate might look a little less square  ,maybe .either way,i'd roll it!
leon
If I'm gonna do it I might as well do it loud and proud! Oval number plates are cool for little ducati scramblers laugh: I actually held up some other styles to it and did not like any of them.
I've seen some number plate bikes that I really dig, supercharged's Pridmore rep, the Moriwaki monster of course, a bunch of seventies superbikes...
And then this one comes to mind, probably one of my favorite bikes ever:
Anyone else have cool pics of bikes with number plates?
I want this pipe!
