and yes it is Ben.
cant wait to see the whole thing!

I am going to bolt them on next week - waiting for some larger washers - so I can start working on the caliper hangers.

They are Kosman roadrace discs, and he knows his stuff. I just redesigned the carriers because the ones that came with it didn't fit.

Incidentally, I spoke to Kosman today and he's considering remanufacturing his superbike discs, with stainless rotors and possibly a carrier to fit a standard KZ 4-bolt hub & fork spacing (so that would fit all KZ650's and KZ1000's up to '80 AFAIK) - you'd have to make some caliper hangers and use some snazzy calipers but that would be a pretty bitchin set up for an old school superbike...

Those stainless rotors would be the hot setup. No rust. Looks good!

Ben, that is an incredibly generous offer, but hang on to them. I have bought some really nice calipers for this project already.
There's a TZ race part on the bike already, if anyone can spot it!

Worked on the exhaust today. Still don't really have the fine motor skills in my right leg back - called on my buddy Dustin to help me do this. He's the same guy that I did all the frame work & swing arm with a few years ago.

Thanks troy! Nope, that started life as an MRE airshifter bottle...

I forgot to shoot a close up picture of the bullet/vanes in the collector. I smoothed out the welds on those before tacking the collector in place. This is a before shot to jog the memory.

Next we cut tailpipe and decided where we wanted to hang it and at what angle. After this we marked the tailpipe for the exhaust hanger tab.
