Are you making a plug just for your personal bike or are you guys (AirTech) eventually going to sell this fairing to the public? I would be interested in this if it becomes available and fits a KZ650
Great work so far on your bike. Wish my job was in the creative side of the moto business:(

The fairing will be available for regular sale later this year. This size fairing is pretty universal (based on a rickman CR fairing). You'll have to make your own brackets of course.

Thanks fellas. I was really nervous whether I got the design and all the dimensions right since I'd never used CAD before. On top of that I was using an online machine shop, so I really just had to place the order and keep my fingers crossed.
As it turns out, the rotors fit perfectly and I even got the centers of the big holes right so the align with the scallops in the rotor part, you can see that really well in the second photo. They came out EXACTLY as I had in mind, I'm stoked!

That is just beautiful! Really nice design Dutch, you certainly have quite an eye for it.
Never knew there was such a thing as an online machine shop, pretty cool. Will have to keep that in mind...and start learning CAD.

DAMN :woohoo: those things kill!
you have a very good eye for design.
are these something that would bolt onto a stock kz with a stock frontend?
not trying to get in your business or be nosey,(i know)but if you don't mind divulgeing how many dollars you have tied up in those rotors i am very curious.
if you don't want to tell, just tell me to get stuffed  .
kicka$$ as always,
leon
