Some close ups of the fairing bracket. I had welded a lug onto the neck years ago before powder coating.

This top bracket will pick up the fairing ears as they come back towards the rider.I turned a shoulder onto the steering stem bolt so the bracket won't move when the handlebars are turned.

I made the tach bracket and headlight bracket as well. They will be mounted on the fairing bracket. Can't weld those on until the fairing is done.

This is the fairing I will be using. I'm modifying a Rickman race fairing. The headlight will be a small 4" H4 light offset to the right - endurance style. This is the plug it's upside down in the picture.

Here's a mock up with the original fairing, only modified with the headlight hole at that point. It will be extensively reworked when it's done.

That is a pretty cool classic custom build. Very clean, lean, stripped and mean looking. Is this going to be a street bike or do you have plans for vintage racing? great job so far! B)
