Another roller, first one with lights. The seat is trimmed up as well. This is as far as I got before my yearly trip to the motherland. I want to get the bike done before the new year but when I get back mid December it'll be close to the holidays...

January '08 - time for paint! Got all the little jobs done between holidays and vacation. Decided to do classic kawasaki race paint, green with the big stripe. Don't want to use the real bright modern kawasaki green so I have something color matched that looks a bit more vintage.
My boss will be painting some stuff over the weekend so he'll spray my parts while all the gear is out. I'll be doing the sanding/masking/beer runs.
Ready to go:

And presto...
Last bits will be the upholstery (done by a friend) and some tuning, but she's now ready to fire up!

The upholstery was done by a friend who builds racing saddles for horse racing. I wanted it super simple and clean, with minimal padding. It came out great and is actually more comfortable than my last seat.

The finished thing. Although there's some things I still want to do. But not right now. 10 months off the road is long enough, I want to ride.
