it is gonna look tough, what wheel are you running?
what surface finish do you plan to use?
it is officially the front row project now.
i had to finish up a top end rebuild on a honda fourwheeler that i was waiting on parts for  .

I plan on having the arm powdercoated but keep the chain adjuster pockets raw.
Kinda like this...

i bought a new camera so hopefully the pics are a lil better to.
i clamped the arm to the mill table so i could cut the ends nice and square.
then i broke out the mini belt sander,
went to work squaring the tubing ends up,
removing the old weld remnants and anodizing.

doug wants it welded up so it can be metal finished out.
so i had to clean it all out to get to the un-contaminated base metal.
and clean the anodizing back from the weld area,
thats as far as i got.
now it is time to do the final cleaning and get the ends welded in.

Dont mean to jack your post but just something to think about when doing a bottom loop. I like to put a 60 degree bend made up of a 60 and a 30 degree bends it will give you the clearence you need for your exhaust. What works for me is I start with a 30 degree bend move over 5 inches and do a 60 degree then measure over for your last 90 and you should be good. Hope this helps.

i read through your thread on the busa conversion you wrote up,a couple times to try and soak it all up.
thanks for doing that write up.
it was a great comfort and how to,to follow.
it helped alot.
doug,
plans to run a sidewinder header so the extra bend was deemed "not necessary".
besides he drew me a pic so its on him .
i wanted to bring it in to a point like i did krazyriders underbrace  ,which would allow header clearance on either side :silly: .
but the main thing for me is to make sure doug got what he wanted and i believe we got that.
thanks for checking it out tho mike, what do you think so far?
