i had to shorten the back of the underbrace because it was interfering with the caliper when it is slid all the way to the front.

buying the machine is the hardest part.
you can learn to weld from the internet and youtube.
i would encourage anyone who wanted to weld to either take a welding course,or just buy the machine and start on some scrap.

I was able to make it out to the garage and mock up the bike in the driveway to get a feel for the overall length and ride height I want.
I forgot to take a measurement but I estimate the wheelbase to be around 68-70" with the axle all the way back.
Anyways, here are some rough mock-up pics...
As you can see I still have a bit of work left to do but I'm slowly chipping away at it.

I've had this thread going for so long I don't remember being asked for a price on the tail. :blink:
