Naiveté in grownups is often charming, but when coupled with vanity, it is indistinguishable from stupidity.
Tis better to remain silent and thought a fool - than to speak up and remove all doubt.
Did ever think that maybe you've been doing it wrong all these years?

Hey Keith,
I have a multi meter. Where do I start? I'm pretty novice with this KZ (electrical stuff). I did all the service on my other bikes, fluid changes, cable adjustment things like that. I'm sure with a little guidiance I can get it running like new.
pull tank...put meter on 12 or 20 volts...ground the ground lead and put the red lead on one of the two colored leads going to the coils....have key on , but not bike running...
if you have at least high 10s, with a good charging system putting out at least 14 and low change...14.3 -14.6 at 4k..you should be good.....i know some will dispute this , but my bike had these numbers and ran like a top and the plugs read perfect......the key is to have a good charging system.....if you have a good battery and a good charging system, you will be getting sufficient juice to the coils when bike is running.....

Kieth! That's out of line! See my post below. None of us, Stein included, care about his status as a paid advertiser.
Your comment: "the god of air and fuel" is persactly what I'm talking about!

You know Ole WG once wished that that parallel wiring "fix" had never become known as his. Apparently, he did not invent it but just applied it and liked the result.
Personally, I've always thought it was nothing more than a shortcut/band aid.
Tony and I have no issue with members saying something doesn't work. We'd just prefer that the something doesn't become the other member.
Frank, civil, criticisms will never provoke an edit on our part. WG used to be a regular poster here, I wonder how things might have been different had the thrashings he received here been more objective.
I don't want to start a thread about WG. I just want to be sure our (the mods) position is understood.

Bill,
i regret that you feel i am out of line ...you and tony and the owner of this site consistantly have a very liberal hand in running this site. that being said, there are more than a handfull of folks that have been past or present members that have had less than full smile dealings with the above mentioned vendor....a lot of posts in the past regarding this person in a negative light have been nuked.....any negative postings about this person werent the work of dreams, they were real deals with real money.....your position is understood, i just hope the position of the general population is understood.......keith
