Thanks Steve. Appreciate the confirmation. I guess I will give them a little bit of love and a good clean up and sell 'em off to someone who can put them to good use.
Cheers!

on the number one carb (left side sitting on bike).
Jonny I may be up for those VM33's what kind of bucks if you don't touch them and sell as is.
Not doubting your ability but first thing I'll do is break them down for a few hour ride in the sonic cleaner
no sense you doing it then me do my thing with them

Rather than starting another thread I thought I'd put it here. It appears the port going to the sediment bowl is smaller than the inlet tubes. I've always suspected the big carbs were starving for fuel at WOT or high speed riding. Didn't have that problem with the stock one. The 33's have two feed lines and a common galley connecting all four carbs. The needle seats are large with strainer screens on each one. The port might be my next mod.

What size are the air screws you have in there?

Maybe it doesn't matter, but observing the Jets R Us "Air Jet Chart", it shows various sizes available with the BS30/97 1.2 standard specification Pilot Air Jet for the KZ1000/1100
Check out the chart below the exploded view and red highlight over Standard Jetting Specifications VM33 Smoothbore
