I got the electrical fixed.
my ignition was not grounded but barely.
HOLY SHIITE!
I have new respect for the bs 34's!
The slides open flawlessly now and power is.... INCREDABLE!
I watched a video someone put on this site awhile ago where the guy was driving down a paved road.
He gassed the engine on his kz and it left a solid line of black for a long ways.
I never knew if it was real or not but it looked cool.
I now know the feeling of doing that!
I just can't say enough about these carbs and the power I have with them.
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
MANNNNN does this bike go!
You guys may think I'm making this up but...
What can I say??????
IT'S TRUUUU!
Off the line it rips, the midrange which is right now, is just aaaaaaaaaaaaaarr!
In 5th gear at 25 miles an hour with a quarter throttle it LIFTS the FORKS up so high!
I'm flabbergasted.
I'm elated.
I'm satisfied at last.
50,60,70, in 5th gear I can pass cars no problem. Out of the hole it's like a raging bull. Gas it and you better have it straight and you'd better hang on because it's gonna burn that tire something fierce!
This has gone waay too far.
Waay fast.
I remember Larry once said he had a friend with a 1015cc that was one fast machine and it was combinations that got it that way.
I think I got one folks.
Rephrase: I have one.
Dad once told me this bike would reach 90 at a certain on ramp before you got to the road and would pull the front tire off the ground in low gear.
It won't do that.
There is no way you could keep it on the road giving it all it had.
It would smoke the tire.
With racing tires it would hit the foot peg and burn out in sec. gear.
Head porting folks. Cutting, grinding etc.
Everyone laughed when I wanted to cut down the diameter of the valves to let a little air by.
I am not laughing.
I'm watching the road.
Making sure there is enough road ahead.
rrrrrrRRRRRRRR
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
This just kicks me so hard
It's not even right.
If I put a light person on it and geared it down it would lay down some serious mph and et.
So now the post is done. And to all that doubted... here I'll do it for you...:pinch: :pinch: I'm not getting cocky here just fact.
Never been a liar, especially about engine stuff.
I got one thing to say though, something confuses me greatly,
Why on earth or how, could ANYONE say these carbs don't make power?
Where the heck did that come from?
HOW could it be?
Some of you folks have alot to learn I guess, at least about these carbs.
4grand stumble? WHERE? WHAT STUMBLE! There is NONE.
I love my bike folks, it's a rockin machine :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

29's never had em but they can't be all that because they are not big enough.
Dave, who heck talked you into getting those dinky little childrens drinking straws.
Don't the world tell you what IS.
find out for yourself if you really want to know.
bigger badder better, the heck with everyone elses open yawns.
MAKE it BIGGER, spin it FASTER Go NUTS
GONADS HAS WON GAME OVER
The bike is running rich on top say the plugs, think I care?
Yeah you got that right. DAMN!
Ok time to tone it down people will think I'm crazy.
GPZ, skoff! LOL! YEah, ok, whatever.
hee hee.
Soeaking of gpz's, I got these carbs in Carrington ND, a place called Iron cycles in Jamestown nd has this guys cell no. He is a parts guy for them and has his own bikes.
The guy has a very nice gpz and he started it up for me.
VERY nice bike, it's injected, he said I could have it for 1600.
That bike is NICE, it started up so fast and ran so good, and hadn't been started in awhile, I was impressed. As a favor to anyone who wants one you know where to go.
He has many other bikes and motors, like 1000j I got the carbs from, and some suzukis.
Hope it's ok to post this info, I really don't know the rules on this stuff.

what kind of man do u wanna be
i got something u all should see
its backwards, its sideways, it's upside down
it looks like its made by an old bald clown
it doesnt have a great big golden crown
people see it they put it down
they want to kick it scratch it, tear it down
its not exactly the talk of the town
you better hope it never comes around
if you hear it coming better hit the ground
dangerous just to hear it's sound
whumpin stompin pound for pound
you can hear the engines completly wound
watch out everybody it's that dog gone clown
hell be gone in the blink of eye
because that thing he's ridin sure does fly
and noone knows exactly why
folks scratch there heads
then break down and cry
he hits his brakes and asks them why
they all reply with a loathsome sigh
because your such a great guy
he gives them all tickets to the winners booth
smiles wide with a single tooth
points his front wheel to the sky
left like a shot with a twinkle in his eye
saying getty up 1015, getty up go daddy, gettup go.. :woohoo:

Well I know one thing about my dinky drinking straw 29mm CR's, when I pull away from my buds KZ1000 with his 34's, he sure wishes he had my CR's.... Of course he flips me the bird...
Maybe I've had it all wrong, Who wants to trade their BS34's for my CR's?

Correction Chest waders. I don't know how long some of you guys have been working on these bikes but I have since 1978 when I bought my first Z1R. I think that would qualify me to say "I've been around the block a few times". I think I will have to get on the roof of my 2 story house because the flood is here. This is getting beyond boots and chest waders.
