I would ever love to have your incredible senses thou, NADS. The ability to eyeball/feel thousands of an inch in differences between jets and declare them "same, PERFECT"! :woohoo:
It doesnt matter really, its your shit, go for it. Just please keep telling us how awsome it is, I love it!
PEACE.
Oh yeah, and PS. 145 is WAY too rich, so is 140...
Dont forget - all jet manufacturers use different specs that are not based on measurment - some flow rate, some just numbers... Your such a tool, I love it! :woohoo:
I have to assume that chart is a hole size comparison. There's a flaw to that. Research the principles of how a venturi functions. It's not just the size of the hole that determines quantity or quality of flow through the venturi
Correctomondo... the origional chart was provided by a friend that works with a raceteam - the comparisons were origionally based on flow - and the difference between the jets resulted in this list. It was not meant to be exact, but like a "bench sync" means of selecting different makes.
Peace!

First off I have to say these bs34's something else. My bike never had this kind of power, not even close. :woohoo: And I'm not kidding one bit. These carbs make tons of power, that 848 would not have walked away, I would have blown the ninja so far out of the water, etc. etc.
You guys might think it's funny but I'm telling you I got it going on here big time.
But as usual I've got one itty bitty problem. EHEM.
At first run it ran on at around 75000 to 8000 ( no more power after 7000. That made me doubt these carbs had the redline punch I was looking for.
That said, I have to change plugs before I go any farther, they are old and have been cleaned of black carbon from the over rich 28's. Once they caused a high rpm missing. Well it's back.
The motor on my bike gets up to 7500rpm with the throttle wide open or close to it, then it starts cutting out on and off, just like your turning the key on and off.
After 8500rpm HANG ON FOR YOUR LIFE.
It takes off like I hit it with a 100hp shot of nitrous, and for the first time ever it sails PAST ten grand and is ON the power band even STILL! It wants to go past 10 to 11 FAST.
I cannot believe the power, It freakin wails. I never would have imagined in my wildest dreams how much power there would be out of it.
But the stumble...
Pulling the choke doesn't do anything but kill it out when it's pulled too far, between it doesn't help at all.
I built a box last night and took her out.
NO good, even worse, I tore that box off Right away.
If I get plugs and this motor takes off like a rocket WHOAA!
If it does not, I'm going to have to change the main jet.
Plugs are so screwed up from the other carbs I can't tell WHAT is going on.
Maybe it's too rich, maybe it's not, but if I can get the stumble out of it my oh my do I have a runner.
It broke the tire loose like it was on water at around 8800rpm and it really caugh me off gaurd,
So I'm just about to make this work and when it's done...
I got me a monster folks. If the plugs are not the problem I need some opinions. From all the kz guys or just one, whatever it takes.
For those who think this is a joke it's not. Now I know how they got these bikes to go fast.
How eddie went round and round, it's the BS34's!
Those 28's are junk junk junk.
I just found out what all the rave has been with the kz.
But it's my kz. And I did some things, took the path less traveled, This is not an ordinary kz.
This is one fast 1015cc. Some call it a baby motor, I call it somkin fast.
That is one mean power band, and the suzuki no longer has the PUNH on me.
The suzuki with it's puny ports and funky desighn isn't even in the same class of power.
All you that laughed at me, well I did it.
I can't for the life of me see how keihins could add 1 single ounce of power to this motor.
I want to hear some feedback on the stumble. I know what too rich doews to this bike with the 28's. It's nothing like that, it's more like the time ( here we go ) I added rubbing alcohol to the gas. It stumbled just like that then took off like a rocket ship at around 9000rpm.
Maybe that is the proof. I'm not burning up the fuel. I'll try new plugs first but if it doesn't go away I could assume it's getting too much gas. But why would it take off with 700hp at 9000rpm?? That ones got me wondering why I'm not at the parts store getting plugs.

Maybe you should push the cam centers out a few degrees. It's common knowledge in race circles that for every .5mm you over drill a main jet, it should be compensated with 3.14 degrees of cam timing change.
Now the catch to it is this...... Since you no longer control the slide or needle with your wrist, you have to ask the cylinder what it likes....

Shakespeare one wrote on the comparative subject matter of enema's and BS34's. Having found that mention of one was in fact inference of the other

"Oder?" "Oder?" I thought "Oder" was a river in Germany.So BS34s flow like a German river?Ach du Leber-now I know why I love my BS34s so much.Lol.bj
Is it true ???
are we not felling "fresh" ???/
Jon,
The end result of an enema is still of considerably higher value than all the BS34's ever made  However, both have equal oder values

BJ... Nurse Ratchet said she's going to be late in the morning for your injection. Seems she's fresh out of novocaine and nut sack needles :woohoo:
She said to use this until she get's there.

When you can pass cars without needing to down shift....then.....maybe they could be considered "working"

I can, but with the gear ratio I put on the bike it is just much more fun to do so. I would like to see you be able to down shift to second gear at 65+ without blowing your engine and still be able to rev an additional 2K.
