Shakespeare one wrote on the comparative subject matter of enema's and BS34's. Having found that mention of one was in fact inference of the other
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,

Jon,
The end result of an enema is still of considerably higher value than all the BS34's ever made  However, both have equal oder values

I would ever love to have your incredible senses thou, NADS. The ability to eyeball/feel thousands of an inch in differences between jets and declare them "same, PERFECT"! :woohoo:
It doesnt matter really, its your shit, go for it. Just please keep telling us how awsome it is, I love it!
PEACE.
Oh yeah, and PS. 145 is WAY too rich, so is 140...
Dont forget - all jet manufacturers use different specs that are not based on measurment - some flow rate, some just numbers... Your such a tool, I love it! :woohoo:
I have to assume that chart is a hole size comparison. There's a flaw to that. Research the principles of how a venturi functions. It's not just the size of the hole that determines quantity or quality of flow through the venturi

It gets going fast fast, and before you know it your sailing along, strong pull through the mid and at around 7000rpm give or take a little, it acts kinda funny. Doesn't pull to redline like the 28's. They would scream to 95000rpm.
The pull was controllable and wheels or whatever were easily controllable. Not these puppies.
I love that low and midrange punch. Holy snikes. That's what I've been looking for.
At the top after 7000rpm the motor starts to sit there on the tack, make noise and won't scream down to ten.
Maybe, just maybe, it's too rich. :woohoo:
If these carbs will pull to redline like they do all the way to it, they are exactly what I'm looking for.
Another thing, when I let off the throttle to shift, the bike may pop and or just fall on itself for a second and I don't know if it's a function of the rich mix or whaat.
So either I need to build a box
go find some rocks
change my dirty socks.
OR
DRILL another jet! STAY TUNED ALMIGHTY CREW OF PERFECT PEOPLE! DADDY'S IN THE HOUSE, HE JUST NEEDS TO FIND HIS WAY.
Give daddy some room he'll bring home the bacon.
Time to measure up some drill bits, and do not I say, I say do not try this at home.
Takes a skilled warrior to manuever around and through reality the way I do.
And when it's all said and done,
ya all stays down.

You are telling me that I'm doomed with my GPZ and should mix and blow the mixture of fuel with a tubing from my mouth to the engine intake while riding ?:pinch: :pinch: :silly: :silly:
Crazy talk going there :woohoo:

It is much faster than before with the 28's, hands down it flat out moves.
Around 8000rpm it hestites some, if I back off a little and hit it it goes.
It pops sometimes after I nail it. Maybe the slides are not lifting all the way, that's what it seems like. I'm not so sure at this point that it's too rich. It does not fall flat at full throttle or 3/4 and more. I think it's the slides. Plugs are hard to check when the slides don't open, they get sooted up from that. Maybe it's time to read some plugs and make a box real quick.
I need to know if the slides are opening all the way. It has tremendous power potential
If the slides aren't opening up and that's all it is the bike is going to scream.
Can't see the too rich thing going on, the needle jets are bout the same as the 26's I put in the 28mm carbs. If the needle height is not the same there lies the rich problem.
I wondered why george said 140 mains for a stock bike and now I wonder if that is one with a box.
He mentioned a little richer with pods. HMM> bandaid fix maybe?
I'm going after the slide operation first, the motor seems not to have a problem with the gas.
When I hear it pop, it tells me It's lean and the the slides may not be rising up.
I'll figure it out and if I have to cut the springs even I will.
There's certain conditions related to the speed you open the butterflys and the rpm range, where the beast comes to life and it's due to the slides finally opening all the way is what I'm thinking.
I'm not parting with those jets until I know it's over rich and not the slides.
I'll make a box out of card board tonight or tomorrow, we'll see if it's the slides or the jet.
When you need to know you have to do the tests.
I've got a good feeling :woohoo: When it's all said and done I might have to ask the rest of you "wanna box"? A card board box tells me what I want to know, imagine that.
