cam bearings...you meen the bearings on the cam towers? no i did not get new ones. wet sand them with 1500?okay.....everybody settle down......i had pitstop do a head for me and thats how it was shipped......its fine.....the caps and cams are coming out again anyway.......did ya get new cam bearings?......if the old ones are serviceable,do em with 1000 grit or 1500 grit wet....its been a while, not sure....make sure everything is clean.......

the bolts holding the cam towers were hand tight.Please don't tell me someone bolted cams even half way down in to a head! A gamble, are they alingned? in time? Sync?
Do you know how easy valves can tweek, bend? .001 of an inch and you loose your compression!
My opinion! Or did I miss something??:S

yep.....there are two halves .....if you have anything dicernable by running your fingernail across them, they need some work.....pm Larry...although you didnt have him do your head, he will give you the scoop....he's good like that......

Right angle die grinder & scuff pad kit
Base gaskets are the worst but with the studs removed it's a lot easier. Since I always go with APE studs they're out of the way anyway....
Any spots left come right off in the blasting cabinet.
