yeah i was ganna blast it , but it seems like a waste of media with such a small surface area.

a powder coat place will blast it prime, paint, clear for $200. ill pass even though its a nice price.

Yes, the $200 price does seem reasonable for frame stripping and refinishing, whether powder-coated or painted.

Prepping a frame can be tedious.

For diy painting of frame, wonder what it would cost for sand-blasting only. :unsure: Might not run too much over stripper and sand paper otherwise needed, not to mention the time and yuk involved. :lol:

Who produces it and where did ya get it?
1980 LTD (changed over the years), 1979 LTD (being rebuilt), 1977 KZ turbo and various KZ's in various states of build. KLX110

dont know whre you live in florida but,if you decide to powdercoat I found a guy here in pinellas county that is reaaaal resonable.he also does exhaust with the ceramic.Im having mine done black.the business name is zps powdercoating.
