bolt under starter removed? top left side of motor ,that would be right side of motor when flipped over

Upside down...R/F would be where the 5 top case bolts are.

See RED boxed bolts and Crank cap bolts... Remove....
BTW... As for the rotor and clutch, leave it in for now, no need to diss-assemble to split cases....
