YUP - been glued to this PC all day, hoping to find out what tomorrows schedule is going to be, since Daryl's (Motor Head) earlier travel plans were to bring him back my way tomorrow after the flag handoff from kaw-a-holic in Boise - then that "stuff" hit the fan...

We had three deers go through the back yard this week. Almost got ran over by one on the drive way on day as I was unloading the groceries. But we get these guys come pass through all the time (North America's largest bird). Had one knock on this very back door a couple of months ago. Must have been wanting food. They have beaks a long as a dagger. One neighbor was feeding them and and one day when he wasn't around they tore up his pool screen, LOL.

We've spent time (couple of winters) down in your part of the nation - mostly in the Orlando/New Smyrna Beach areas - enjoyed several visits to the Daytona Turkey Run - sure wish we could get back there again!

Hey guys just a quick update. The flag has been handed off to Motorhead and is on the way to Oregon. I will post some pics tonight.

Darryl told me he was still planning on stopping by John Day tomorrow so you could still take part in the relay. Sorry again for ruining everyone's plans.

glad the flag got moved on!! Just worry about getting that bike fixed!

Gary, I'll call in a few minutes. I'm in Baker City at the Library, using the computer. Going to ride the 7 through to John Day, so I'm close by. I'll have to call from a pay phone, as my POS cell is just that/ 0 reception anywhere over the last couple of days. Going to have to change phone networks looks like. You didn't ruin plans by any means, this stuff happens. Everyone is just happy that you are all right. Don't fret for a moment. You'll get the bike fixed, and the mods you want to make it ride better. You can get it ready for the 4 corners rally.

Sorry to see the postings of your crash. Glad you are ok brother. In spite of all you have been through recently, I thank you for relaying the Flag. Please call when you can. AND, let me know if you want me to go over to Sax's and steal a few choice bits from his KZ!
