We all know what can happen but when it does it's such a shock. A bad hit indeed but thankful it wasn't worse. My best thoughts to all of Dave's friends here.

All the cagers were crazy here in Ohio on Sunday. Not watching a damn thing besides the DVD players in their minivans!

That really sucks, I hope the cager will be prosecuted. Please tell Shoe to get better quickly and he's in my thoughts.

That sucks! I read this at 3:30 this morning after getting back from the road trip to Chicago to fetch the 2 bikes I just bought so I was too tired to respond. I bought some parts from Dave a couple of years ago and I can honestly say he is one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. Get well soon Shoe, everyone here is pulling for you.

Got xs's relayed email from Dave's wife that she sent out this morning:

"Good morning all,
Dave is improving each day, he had a much better day yesterday and night last night so hopefully out of ICU as early as today. From there we don't know the timing but thankfully he is on the recovery road. Thank you for all of your prayers. Dave and I appreciate all of them. He is not up to visitors yet still needing his rest but is anxious to get home and back to "Shoe World".

He seems on the right road to recovery but still isn't out of the woods yet until we hear he is out of ICU or better yet home!

As far as the kind offers to raise money for Dave's medical bills and other expenses while laid up, I haven't been able to find out yet how well they were insured and such but as anyone knows insurance it rarely is enough. As soon as I hear something I'll let you guys know. If there is a fund setup it will probably be directly to Dave's PayPal account. PayPal has some sort of plan for not taking a cut I believe for causes like this, if not then we'll work out something for those of you who want to help Dave out through all of this.

As for Dave's Cafe' 750, I can only guess it is toast. A 40mph T-bone probably left nothing undamaged. Once Dave is home I plan on riding up from Cincy to Mansfield to see him, anyone that is nearby that wants to tag along to visit Dave is welcome to join me.

I want to thank you guys again for the prayers and well wishes, if you know Dave then you know he will humbled by all of the support he is receiving here and on other boards.

Good to hear he is feeling better.
