Try to put your sprocket cover on. See where you stand with that. Probably going to need some attention there too Joe.

Gut the cover first.

i hear ya larry. still waiting on the front end parts before i do anything else. i wanna get the front and rear perfect with chain travel, then ill try the front sprocket cover. i know, not much progress, when the triples show ill be moving along.....i hope...lol

well that took all about 5 minutes. :) the top 1 was a lil easier. the bottom one was a lil harder. i had to weld a piece of solid round bar to it and knock the round bar with a hammer. easy as pie. new ones are pressed in and i should have Leones triples this afternoon allowing me to install the front end.:)

I think I had to cut one of the out with a cutoff wheel on a dremel. I don't think I had to cut all the way through. I'll see if I can find my posts on this.

yeah i read that. unfortunatly i dont have one. i lost it during a move. the rod/weld worked like a champ. i would choose that over using a cutting wheel near the neck any day. thanks for stoppin in DD.:)

It actually wasn't bad, I don't believe I had to cut all the way through them before they released the tension and fell out.
