joe i may have tried to steer you wrong about needing the two nuts.
according to the diagram lc posted your model only has one.i guess it counts on the bolt to lock the nut and tree together.

I could have sworn mine had two as well, as I told Joe the same thing. I know my GSXR front had two also. I would defer to plummen and the bikebandit diagram though, I don't know enough to trust my opinion in this case :blush:

i ordered the cap for the bearings from Z1e. $3.42. now im broke. lol

i guess the next step is to get a set of bars and see where i feel comfortable to get the pegs mounted. if you think i should do anything in particular next shout it out....Joe

.....the motor is finally bolted in, and i have my front and rear dead nuts in line with chain travel.:)

next will be foot pegs.
