Looks good Joe, making some headway. You can adjust your ride height with longer or shorter dog bone links. If you need to raise it use shorter dog bone links, if you need to lower it use longer ones.

do longer or shorter bones have any affect other than ride height adjustments?

In the extreme, they do change the swingarm angle, which can lead to chain tightening/slack issues.

Edit: If you get the bike too low, it won't corner worth a darn.

this bike is gonna be beautiful man! keep up the good work! i love watching what everyone is doing to their bikes, i have plans on the backburner for a go fast 650 but that will be awhile yet! love the build

right now the bikes frame is 8" off the ground. thats Larrys instructions.

It's gonna sag down when you get that 210lb motor in there and you sit on it. Is Larry talking about loaded or unloaded height?
