dont get me wrong...you will learn tons from the crashes too...:P

ive had a battle with road rash on my last build. i dont know if you guys remember, but i put a XJ 550 maxim motor in a polaris 250 frame. never got around to getting the brakes done.......12 beers later i got cocky and punched it in second gear in my old coldesack. front tires grabbed the road and threw me over the bars wearing nothing but flip flops and shorts. i learned my lesson.

watch the tail pipe....

like i said, no brakes.....

and this is the dampening adjuster?

If those are 1996 forks, the ride height is the aluminum adjuster with the two flats. The brass screw is to adjust the damper rod.

Not all years had the ride height adjusters. You'll ultimately want the ride height adjusters cranked down to next to last mark [or there abouts]. They work great ;)

Here's all you need to know about 7's ;)

larry. it looks like before i get all my motor mounts done i need to get my 5/8" offset sprocket so i can line the sprocket/motor up with the rear sprocket, since the swing arm is fastened? does that sound right?

and will my stock kz rear sprocket work?
how many teeth should i get for my 5/8" offset sprocket?
