Hey Joe, nice project you've got going on bud. Normally the top adjuster screw is rebound damping, the bolt it rides in is the preload adjuster and the screw on the fork bottom is compression damping. when did i ever get discouraged? i dont get it. how could i hate the guys that "made" me do this? it was my decision. its all been a great experience so far. im having a blast!

Craig wasn't saying discouraged Joe, he was illistrating that this is not just your first bike build, but your first bike. With that in mind, you chose a VERY ambitous project that people with alot more experience would have shyed away from. Becasue of this, there is an increased chance for something to not go right. We're not saything that something will go wrong, but if it does, it will negatively affect the way your bike handles and rides (the burlap bag full of bobcats comment). Thats it man, Craigs is simply concerned, as we all are, that this build comes out ok. Keep the rubber side down ;)
