Thanks Leon, I was going to get her a shirt that said " if you are reading this, the bastard fell off". I hear they make a few bobber kits for these bikes as well. She is doing pretty well riding it in the neighborhood, shifting gears and such. Of the three times she rode it only had one mishap at the end of the driveway stopping. I had to help her pick it up and she got right back on and started riding.

i just looked through it, but its mostly just pics of headers.
kzrider.com/forum/2-engine/271747-header-pics

do u have the slip on ? what kind of pipe is that? is the od of the tail 2.5" ?
i use a 2" baffle for my 1200cc motor.
a 1.5" would be better. the bigger u go the torque curve will be higher.
i just bought a perferated sleeve from a Harley shop, and modified it to fit in my kerker tail piece. took a grinder to the kerker end cap. it had 1 1/4" hole i think. ground the caps end until the hole was the same size as the new inner.then had them welded together.

Mark, I dont have the slip on for this pipe but I do have one for a yoshi. I might see if I can get that to fit.

Well I got the bike back on the road with carbs today since my efi ecu is acting up and that will be on hold until after the relay run. First drive with the gpz motor and I notice it falls flat from 3k rpm up. Definitly needs jets. The second thing I notice is that noise is back. Your not going to belive this but I look down while riding and notice the chain is bouncing off the frame going back and forth. Not hitting the frame on the top but from the bottom where it has a conflect with one of the bolts holding my footpeg on. Probably not a common problem since Im running a 5/8 offset sprocket. So sawsall time and problem fixed. Man I feel stupid. Riding it a second time I noticed another sound as the bike speeds up. Looks like a warped rotor. I'll fix that one later. Im making that relay run if I have to push this thing.

Found a good deal on a couple of helmets and orderd my son and I a set that match.

bike looks tuff!

i have been watching bell comeback and wondering how there helmets were in comparison to current offerings.

i really like the look of the helmet you posted.does the whole front flip up,or the shield can flip up to?

i have had both of those problems as well. i ground off the inner footpeg boss, and i run a roller under the chain too. i have straightened disks, on the bike. i used a dial indicator, a 2x2 and a hammer. its still straight. :)

Mark1112, that takes some skill.. 2x2 and a hammer ha ha..

Leon, the whole front tips up and the shield and is has some shades built in like a fighter pilot.

Big helment though. Makes the rest of your body look small.

Ok, I've been trying on some new body parts... older gpz stuff. I am definitly going to find a way to make the tale fit. Not sure about the tank even though it has everyting I need for EFI. It crazy how much the shape and even the color changes the look of a bike. Oh, and the pipe is staying also, I just lucked out that it follows the lines of the bike.
