Yeah, back to the old grind. I've slowed down on the bike for now. I have to build a new engine for my Jeep. The one I have in there now has over 300k and it runs strong but is starting to makes some noises.

I hope your close friends and family gives you a bashing for riding around with out any sort of protection what so ever :D

Regardless of that that bike looks sweet!

Normally I wear a helmet and jacket, boots etc. I make an exception when I am 2 blocks from the beach and crusing the strip in Florida. Speeds are usally kept < 40 mph. My wife was taking the Pics and video. I appreciate your concern but sometimes you have to take a calculated risk for enjoyment. Riding a bike is a risk also.

Well since you asked. Roller cam 351 or maybe 408 or 427 if I can bore it out to that with a 5 speed tremec 3550 from my mustang and 2000 explorer 8.8 with 3.73 gears. I am going to have to build my own frame so I will 4 link the rear and coilovers in the front maybe.

Here is what I want the front to look like.

And this is the plan for the rear.

or this.

Gonna be nice, can't wait to see some progress on it.

Couple of weeks ago the wife suggested I find a project "convertible" that that we could do as a family project. Of course you and I both know that means, I do all the work, and they ride in it.. lol Looked at a 65 Coupe Deville convert yesturday.. damn thing is LOOONG.. but might be a cool project.. Still looking. You come across any 60's verts that look halfway decent up your way chevy, pontiac, olds etc..let me know. Just roller is fine..

3.73 is too much gear for a car that light, especially if you go with the skinny tires. If it was me, I'd go with a 3.31.
