That does look sweet but yours is too stock to hack it up at this point. That's the same KR series racing header I have but mine is chrome. Looks good on a MKII!

did a 35 mile loop.....Amy says she likes it 100% better...the seat ,the upright position...i think it might be the 18 rear tire too...hurt kinda to hear her comment so fondly of the new bike...we put a lot of rides on the ole green 900...but if she feels better then she feels better...bars are bent,steering bearings clack under a hard stop, chain makes noise even after lubing and adjusting this morning....tach has a ding......


ordering tires tomorrow a.m

jardine muffler may need to go...low end part throttle sounds muffy...wide open is cool though....smaller fuel amount /tank???

Wow, that's a lot of problems. You'd probably be better off without that beast. I'll tell you what. I'd be willing to take it off your hands for what you paid. I'm nice like that....

went for about 150 miles today..past Seca...north through the moss landing ,elkhorn slough, and through santa cruz ,north onto highway one north then took a road called bonney dunes rd...and ended up climbing up and away from the ocean and into some wine country and redwoods...when we turned back south a sign said San Fran 76 miles...next time..it was kinda windy on U.S 1 north and we wanted to ride home......shot some fields on theway back.....

other than some carburetion or timing the bike was flawless and i even got make about 15 passes through some little back roads twists to if Amy could get a pic...more work needed there... need to see if i can post videos maybe...metzler tires were not the newest so no drifting.. and she either shot a pic of me stright up or exiting and stnading it up...looks like a 550 lol....:woohoo:

Highway 1 poited north about 20 minutes north of santa cruz...fields of artichokes and pure blue pacific

looking south with the monterey penninsula wat too far away to swim..but some dude did it last month...no shit

one minute your in a harbor by civilization,20 later the lonely coast,take a right and climb inland for 15 and redwoods and a fern paradise....

we never even knew this road was here...where it goes we have no idea....but we will be back this way again for sure
