sit down feet dangling over the 75 ft ledge to the fields below,to read the latest cycle mag and wait it out...shoot this over my shoulder....waiting....waitng

outta no where with no warning the thunderbirds rip right over my head...i'm still sitting down reading...turns out that little field below my bluff park job...is the zero point for all their manuvers...score...i sat there with no one around at ground zero for my own private fighter jet show...i would say i was the closest to it of anyone anywhere today...other than the ones flying....unbelievable...i jumped up abnd shot the following pics of this 10-15 minutes barrage right on the MKII....:ohmy:

it was like i was the sitting where their turn markers were or something...i got pretty scared a few times cause they were coming straight down at the bike

what a trip....i actually rode past this spot and came back cause i liked the drop off for bike pics...turns out it was the x spot for the whole freaking routine....i know where to go next yr...peace

no but you gotta wonder why they charge 30 bucks for a seat to watch em...you think the few thousand folks buying that 20-30 ticket pays the bill for them to fly around burning enough gas to heat a hundred homes for a thousand yrs....

no they are burning those holes in the ozone for one reason and one reason only......and it aint to get little kids to study hard and join up......


it's an airshow and entertainment...but i was not forgetting for a second what it has always been about... but then again just think,..those brave guys and their beliefs and me with a completely different take on the need for war.. ....but for some reason i, all by myself, find my way to that x spot and sit there all alone under the show.....think god has a sense of humor?


or was the spirograph just spinning random intersects today...you know...things just happen for no reason right?

plus it was okay compared to last yr,last yr i paid to sit in the airstrip stands while some friggin -idgit- used car salesman-talked at blaring volume over the jets....and tried to put a spin and polish on the war while the planes were doing their routine...he sounded unsure and the clapping he requested was half hearted only when he tried to attach a pep rally....the clapping for the pilots however was a standing ovation...why the difference you think?...just like the military recruiting tents at the motogp...way outta place!...with folks B-lining to avoid getting hit up ,not one person over at their display...not one,,,,,,


anyways your right jimbo...it was war machines ...and it was sad to watch & exciting also...sad because i know the end result in human lives of making machines like that ....


too bad there were no camels or hill caves to shoot at and demonstrate their aim....
