Hey, you guys are getting deep. I totally agree on what you're saying about what's important in life but how do we remember that? I read something like this, totally agree with it, walk away and go back to my same old habits. I guess I'll keep trying...hopefully it will sink in one day.
I totally agree with how great the CA weather is. I really want to move there one day. My company even has a few divisions there, so maybe some day?? We have some family near San Diego and I have loved every visit. I don't know if I can take another NE Ohio winter here in the snow belt.

Yeah, Tri and MkII I agree with you. I just need to finish with my obligations here. In another few months or shortly I will be able to leave and not worry about my house or anything being lost or neglected.
I can't complain but I honestly love to ride and love the nice weather and I am trying to get there and not lose all that I have struggled to achieve. lol
Funny how these things shape our actions huh? Material possesions hold us down as well. But thank God for the bike. The feeling of freedom and flying is close at hand being on two wheels. I love that invention!!!
Cassia and I are on the outs. I am hopefully not going to get screwed out of seeing my son.

Spooky you guys... Were all thinking the same.
Been thinking how lucky we are in Cali.
My wife would never endure a Midwest winter. No wonder folks in the region flock to Florida every year. When my parents moved us from Cali to Indiana, Illinois then back in a span of six years it took a while to acclimate back to the seasons in our home state.
I keep getting goaded by co workers to moving to the mid west again, it's just not happening. My father considered the move in 79 a life mistake. Not that you can kick yourself to death over it. But I'm not going to be so short sided and learn from his hindsight.
This state has it's benefits but we sure are paying for them now, ready for another 4 years of governmental puking? But in all the weather, family and the bazillion micro climates we have here make it so livable. You never get bord as theres something for everyone... Even folks that like living in the middle of big metros.
Craig Nice to see the bike progressing. The Metz are at least 20+ years old, no? I'm putting my fingers in my ears and saying La la la la la while i read your last few enteries...You ol trail breaker. Please put those Avons on and be safe... Life is too short mon...
Cheers you lucky dog. Sill glad you found this bike.

couple of MKII shots..finally got some days off in a row..cleaned the shop and rather than mount tires and a kerker...i just checked the tires and oil and took the neighbors 14 yr old for his second ride of his life....we just rode and went everywhere.did a long loop and it was one of the Oct afternoons when everyone with a bike was out in groups or alone...clear skies and it warmed up enough to put the hoodies in the backpack...did a few booty cruising downtowns and a few scenic routes..stacked rocks at the beach and did two separate hill canyon runs.....it was a great fall ride......never know when you get one of these but i almost missed it by not wanting to do much but rest...glad i got the bike out...bikes everywhere.....peace
