rode out to the ocean today and got a few nice shots in the harbor.... pics come out better in the late afternoon light...but this is one of my favorite backdrops for shooting a few shots

the bay is dotted with small craft catching white sea bass ,the bass are driving schools of squid into the shallows and folks can limit at 3 per day per person...25-60 pounds...with many about 50

i am gonna go for sure next year...in my kayak these will be a challenge...but folks are doing it......a pole some live squid and a stringer....and paddle back in....now that's "sport fishing" anyways there were dozens of boats per mile everywhere out there today...my coworker has been catching em but he works swings not graves so i can't go....i wanted to...he was gonna take me out last thursday in a boston whalers....sea bass and fresh garden veggies,tomatoes...hmmmmm
