I like the new mirrors. They look right on your bike. How well do they do on the line of sight thing? As an example, since I'm right eye dominant, I get a fairly good image from my left mirror on my ninja, but the right is useless unless I need to see my right shoulder. I would think that the bar enders would help in this regard.

Where did you find a bar snake? I changed handlebars and can't get my old one out - it really helped.
I also just removed my weighted bar ends. They were nice but I couldn't stand the grips I had. My new grips don't have open ends - I might cut them so I can reinstall the bar ends.

Did you ever consider installing a gauge with a fuel meter and a sender in your tank? Are there any aftermarket options for that out there?
Absolutely LUV the ACEWELL unit....
Easy to install, accurate in comparing with Tach meter and other speedo (side by side comparisons), adjusted on the fly.... Plus 2 trip meters one of which I use as my Fuel gauge...
Very happy with the unit, highly recommend it...

Ordered the Bar Snake directly...
www.barsnake.com/
They have listings of distributors by State but here in AZ, all no go.... Call Linda directly, she sets up a Paypal for ya and in 2 business days had the snake...
The Renthal bars are thicker walled then normal steel bars so I had to shave (belt sand
) the damn thing thinner... If I was to do over, get the liquid poor they offer...![;) ;)](/media/kunena/emoticons/11.png)
Fuel gauge and sending unit in tank... Naw why go there...
Run one full tank and note mileage when I hit reserve... Pretty easy... Pending how I'm running the old girl, 110 miles on the nose to reserve....
That leave another 20-25 miles to empty, time to hit the gas station....

"you should do it right, get a fuel gauge!"...
I have a built in one....
Now get in there Mr Happy.... If he hits the bottom of the tank with out getting gas on him, empty... If he starts painfully screaming, gas still in the tank....
Mr Happy doesn't like it when I do that to him.... Pisses him off fiercely.... :woohoo:

I suppose that would work, but it might be unpleasant to have to use your dipstick while riding...it would look funny though!
