hahahhaha... well shit, I have to get er done anyways and since I don't have the head back yet I have to keep busy or I'll go friggin nuts. Besides, everything else is done!

Seriously, once I get the head back, install it with timing components, check, adjust, verify valve clearances (replace shims as required), install the carbs and tune, put the pipe on and adjust verify the timing. Then ajdust jets as required.

Basically, this old girl is ready to be fired up soon.

BTW all, the head delay IS NOT due to LARRY C...

Actually, Larry saved my ass big time where he noticed the brand new camshafts had defects that I just didn't/wouldn't have recognize... But he sure did and WebCam has already acknowledged, provided apologies and re-cut new cams for my project.

Again, Thanks big time Larry for within a month or two I would have ended up with metal shavings in my pistons... Guess what happens then... I would have been totally bummed!

Cam Degreeing Update:

All is good... Cam degreeing all finished, intake finalized at 104.25 and exhaust at 104.5... Cam lobe center was depicted at 105.....

Shims came out within Kawi specification .05 to .10mm....

Valve Lifter Clearance:
Intake # 1 # 2 # 3 # 4
.1mm .09mm .1mm .1mm

Exhaust # 1 # 2 # 3 # 4
.1mm .1mm .1mm .1mm

I installed shims 230's on the exhaust side and the 235's on the Intake side.

I wrote a tutorial for Cam Degreeing with images for this process, should be able to finalize by next week or so and I'll post...
