OK, it has been an long summer, now its time to start the bike project again. :woohoo:

The main things who needs to be done now is:

1.
TL1000R swingarm needs to be sandblasted and painted.
Also weld on the shock mounts before paint since I will use double shocks.
Find an solution for the clearance issue, will need to mill down the hub in rear wheel. Maybe do more in order to fix the problem.

2.
Rebuild the head, I will order some tools from Neway;

Valve Seat Cutter

Some lightning issues front and rear, I will use LED everywhere except front light.
Also making an new twin headlamp from some damaged Bates buckets I bought on Ebay.

4.
Rebuild wire harness totally.

These are the main things left I think, but surely other issues will come up. :blink:

I will of course put out pictures.

Also I will start on the ELR, slowly and quiet...

Keep up the good work. You have quite a barn find here.

this is madness - in the good and positive way.

I'm awestruck by the thoroughness you do this and i know i just have to see this in person.
Also the way you bake the parts is a nice touch .. did you order the paint via the net or is there a dealer in Bergen ? (i did read the 14 pages - but i skimmed a few lines )

But I got a little stock now of different colors, so just check with me before you order, maybe I got it.

Project news:

Ordered Neway tools.
Ordered more LED s.

I will start on the ELR soon, and work parallel on them, the hope now is to be done with the both of them until next spring...(but as we know, we never knows...) :huh:

I will deliver the ELR frame to sandblasting soon, I hope to get it powder coated, otherwise I will use POR-15 paint.

The highlights for the ELR project is:

Wiseco 1260 engine.
USD forks.
Custom swing from 531blackbanshee.
And only Kawa parts if not custom made. :woohoo:

Until some really update, here is a picture of some LED I will use.

And the state of the J project today 19-08-08.

Dont let the ELR gas tank make you believe that it will be Kawagreen, I think the color will be black and gold stripes, just something like the Z1000H colors.

Hehe, Yes, more is coming, its a little quiet on the bike front for the time being, but I will start up soon.

I am working on converting a camping trailer to become a bike garage, since I live in the middle of a town its hard to find a garage/place to have my projects.
Beside my living room... :blink:

Here is the trailer frame, when its done it will be 2m wide x 5m long x 2.1m high.
Build in shiny gloss aluminium. :woohoo:

I have ordered some Neway tools, a valve seat cutter, and a GIZMATIC-3 valve refacer.
And with help from my friend 531blackbanshee they are soon on the way from US, I dont think they sell these tools here in Norway, an if, they would cost three times or more...
In UK the Gizmatic only costs 425 pund last time I checked...
