I assume you spray the paint on while the part is hot...am I right ??
Or in other words, you have to hurry a bit to spray the paint before the part cools off, right ???

Guys, just for your information, POR-15 has two variations on their coatings as far as exposure to the elements.
There is one kind that can be exposed to UV (UltraViolet radiation) and another wich is not good to be applied on surfaces exposed to the sunlight.
I learned about this at their web site and I used the later stuff to do the underside and inside (floor pans of a vintage Mustang I am working on).
I tell you, that stuff is real good, tough and good looking after applied, I liked much, (for my purposes that is)
Saludos,
Rene.

Yes, they also sell an clear cote to paint over the non UV paint. I am satisfied with POR-15, easy to spray on, and looks very nice.

With good help of the members in the [url=
www.z1ownersclub.co.uk/index.php ]z1ownersclub [/url]
I received a TL1000R swingarm a couple of days ago.
Bought on ebay, pick up only auction.
From earlier you maybe know that I have one GS1100 swingarm, and one Hayabusa swingarm.
The plan was to use the GS swing, but then I get hold on the TL 1000R swing.
The Hayabusa swing I was told, is much harder to adapt on the bike.
Now I know the differences between the Busa arm and the TL arm.
The Busa arm is offset from factory, when you mount it up on a straight frame its about 16mm off, on right side.
Here is both arms, Busa on the left.
Busa arm is 63.5 cm, Tl1000R is 59 cm.
Approximately total length.
