And a shot from the right rear quarter. I know, its just a wheel, but that wheel has just changed a couple hunks of steel and aluminum into something that resembles half a motorcycle! :woohoo:

Damn, your wife lets you do that while and after having a baby? Mine's having surgery next week and I'll get nothing done while I wait on her....you're a lucky man!

Oh, and that's one sexy wheel!

"let" is such a strong word. It was more like the hospital had the wife and baby captive, so I took my 3 year old with me to the salvage shop. And as long as I come in to help with the girls, I get to spend some time putting this frankenstien together. I do have a pretty cool wife though B) B) B)

I'm trying to convince her that the hospital won't mind if I bring along my drill and buffing fob's, and go to town in the waiting room....but I don't see that happening.

Tell the hospital staff that the buffing dust kills the H1N1 virus. They'll beg you to do it then :P

Thanks Ben! I couldn't resist and threw the tank, seat and tail on it. NOW it looks like half a bike

Here is a pic of the wheel offset. I knew I was going to have some besause I did it on purpose to reduce the amount of sprocket offset I would need. It was just that without a wheel, I didn't know exactly how much it was offset. Now I can SEE it. Not too much though

Trust me, that nobody will ever notice that small of a wheel offset. They will be too busy taking in the rest of that bike. Just think, what would have become of your bike if you hadn't had the little snafu whilst checking valve lash.

 I would probably still be slogging around town with it to run small errands with a little ticking in the top end and 90 psi in the cylinders! 3 months later and now look at it. The only thing recognizable is the green bodywork :P
