I got to quit looking at this, it's getting me upset real bad. I just can't take much more pressure, I'm going to have to do this to the turbo bike or I'm going to always regret it and I'm holding you guys responsible!

That is a lot of damn wires... lol Nice to see the progress.. Once you get all those wires figured out then you can help me figure mine out.. lol

Hope to have the engine in SOON!!

The wiring dosen't seem all that bad. You just have to pick a spot and work your way out. I swaped in a zx6 junction box also for the blinkers and fuses etc.. so I've got 3 wiring diagrams to graph togther.

Completed so far:
ecu mounted
fuel pump mounted
map sensor mounted
wired the main relay for power to the ecu and can read it from my laptop
wired the fuel pump to ecu and power relay used AN -4 fitting for pump so I will probably
be using a 1/4 line

next, wire the injectors. Ok ol wise ones of the board. The firing order is 1243 with left coil firing 1 & 4 and right 2 & 3 wasted spark. Am I getting this right so far?

The ecu has two banks to batch fire 2 high impedance injectors each. The question is should the batches be paired 1&4 and 2&3?

I assume based on your configuration that you are using a single crank trigger or missing tooth setup correct? If so, then you are on the money with the waster spark setup. If your using more then one trigger then you have options.

Pairing on the batch fire is correct as well. (1 & 4 and 2 & 3) Would like to see a sequential option, but not supported for our config would probably just complicate things anyway.. lol

You can do sequential injection and ignition with an MS2.

I think you can do 4 high impedance injectors per bank, for a total of eight.

The following is about the new MicroSquirt, but I'm pretty sure the old one was the same.

The fuel injector drives will max out at 5 amps each, enough to drive one low-impedance (or 4 high-impedance) injector per bank.

Sorry, I have not been on hte forum for a while and forgot abou this thread
My return is on the right hand side of the tank a bit behind the TBs so that the return pipe from the fuel reg is underneath it.
I will take some pics on the weekend.
I seem to recall that I have the bike set up as a 2 cylinder because of the wasted spark. There was an issue with the ecu reading the revs at 1/2 speed or was it double?Bugger memory is a bit shot
I run the gpz11 injector that are low impedance and have used both the flyback board and currently running resistors, both ways work fine. The flyback board is in my first ecu that is set up for ignition. The one I am using at the moment is running fuel only. 2.2board ms1 extra code.

I am going to try to start by using the pickup off the negative on the coil for fuel only and leave the stock ignition in place. Is the 81 KZ1000 ignition considered CDI? if so I can not do this it will damage the optisolator. Somebody please chime in if you know the answer to this.

Steell, I am pretty sure you can only do sequential injection with a 2 cylinder with microquirt v3 since it only hase 2 individual banks.

Dave, anything you can remember or take pictures of would be great. Im hoping to leave a record here of my trial and error to make it easier for others
