i know you guys have spent a lot of time helping me with trying to figure this out. i feel like a slight burden. its such a pain in the ass doing this over the cpu. by the time i seel this piece of shit yamaha, ill know every damn thing about the wiring on the bike.
i dont want to keep any of you from doing other things, forum or non forum related. so when you get tired of helping me on this subject, instead of getting impatient, jut let me know you have had enough.
again, your help is getting me closer to acually being a KZ RIDER!!!

all of the wires going to the coils are soldered. each solder connection is reading the same voltage.

so yeah, all the wires going to the coils read the same when i ground my meter to the chassi or battery and touch the red test pointer to the soldered posts.

And no, continuity would be 0 or .02 OHMS (shorted together) pending the DVM resolution.... and INF is infinite meaning there isn't continuity between the 2 meter leads thus OPEN circuit when meauring resistances.....

Again, research this on the web Joey..... :P  Think of it as one huge encyclopedia....

Here... Set your meter on resistance, don't touch the DVM probes together... What are you reading? INF or some other indication right....

Now touch the probes togther, reads 0 or 0.2 somewhere as such right....

Now, in your left hand hold one probe and in your right hand the other probe, you should measure (body resistance)
a couple K ohms or so... Cool huh...

Now read your damn manual that came with that meter for it tells you things as such.... Not the body resistance but other usful info on how the meter operates... ;)

let me ask you this.....i hate to do it, but lets say i cant finger it out? what would bringing it to someone set me back? i know its something stupid, but i know how some mechanics work out thier bills.

sometimes i just sit out there starring at the wires thinking of something i havnt tested.

"oh hell when omr started on here he couldnt check the air in his tires without downloading it from his computer!"....

Bull Shit... I knew how to check the air in my Coil Mod, the liquid in my FLUX Capacitor.... and how to check my valve clearances with the valve cover on thank you much..... :S :woohoo:

Joe... Did you measure the Pick up Coil resistance?

Keep in mind the igniter sends negative (0Vdc) to the coil to place them in conduction on the Primary windings.... When not firing a ertain spark plug then +12Vdc would be expoected thus placing the coil and spark plug in NON conductive modes of operations...

Pretty simple when you think of it in KISS logic...
