Not sure - they could be original. The only part in this equation I haven't rebuilt or tested.

I am thinking the same way. Found OEM on Bike Bandit for $140 each. Also went on eBay and found some no-name/generic options for $50-$60 a piece. Quite a price difference but wondering if they are of decent quality.

Totally diff animal of course but My truck F150 started missing this winter after warm up...... ran perfect when cold and for 5-6 miles ..... changed the plugs a week ago and they were so bad (.090 gap vs .044) I'm surprised it even ran but the problem remained...... did some internet searches and some replaced the coil, wires and dist cap but the problem still remained ...... BUT in my case it was the coil and it now runs without missing a beat.

I bought some used green 3 ohm dynatechs on eBay. They are a bit of a tight fit and I'll probably eventually replace the with the compact version.

That would be my choice too GPZ the green Dyna's with Dyna copper wires...... a few have had good luck with the cheaper Emgo's too so get a few suggestions before deciding on how much to spend.

That's pretty much it. I have ngk resistor plugs and I put the self contained dyna S ignition on at the same time for good measure. The biggest plus that I liked was being able to adjust each pickup coil.

I have the green Dyna coils and a Dyna S. They have the yellow silicon HT wires but I don't trust them. They're sexy but they are known to develop problems. I'll go copper when they fail.

I tried to mount mine that way. Too close to the head. Now they're squeezed under the tank.
